Most Beloved.

Fall trends are starting to emerge on the catwalks and editorial spreads. The 70s are making a huge comeback this season; from suede to skinny scarves, there are a lot of elements to choose from. For those that reside in hotter climates, you can still jump on this trend train without compromising your comfort!

Eyelets and lace up details are a reoccurring favourite with many designers, and as usual the high street is taking suit. There are a lot of great pieces to pick from pending on your price range and style preferences (see below).

This skirt is a great transitional piece from summer to fall; the raw curved hemline is a nice  imperfect touch and the hi-low drop helps give the illusion of longer legs. The lace-up detailing is a dimensional element which adds additional texture into the look. Khaki has been a hot favourite, featured in many Military and Safari inspired collections; it's a versatile colour that can be embraced into a variety of looks!

Wanting to stay on the casual end of the scale, I paired the skirt with a graphic tee. I always see a lot of graphic tees that I love, but then I read the writing and it either doesn't make sense or I don't agree with them, which in turn puts me off the top, does anyone else have the same problem?!

I'm eagerly anticipating fall and all that it brings, from crisp morning air to wearing chunky knits and nursing a hot coffee. What elements of the 70s trend are you loving most?

The Colour Blue.

Blue is my all time favourite colour, without a doubt you'll find me at this end of the colour spectrum, I just love how the variance in shades can give off different vibes! 'Navy' is often associated with elegance and sophistication, whereas 'Power Blue' is innocent and fresh.

Dressing in one hue is a simple trick to looking chic - you can make a statement with basics!

Always be creative and don't be afraid to experiment with your style! My top is actually a dress, but tucked into some slim fit jeans and you've got yourself a relaxed oversized piece that was totally effortless!

Sport Luxe

The Sport Luxe trend is an easy way to have the best of both worlds, comprising of minimal and casual elements, it's perfect for those hectic errand days!
The focus of this outfit are the shorts, from the leather down to the perforated detailing it's a versatile addition to your wardrobe that will enable you to mix and match with ease.
Rather than reaching for a jersey tee, opt for lightweight knits instead. The textural contrast and featured statement neckline adds a little luxe and air of sophistication, which balances out the casual vibes. Finishing with footwear, rather than choosing the obvious chucks or kicks I reached for these sandals instead. Sliders are a great way to achieve that minimal edge, and as we're currently in the full throws of summer, why not?

There's a lot of room for interpretation with this trend, how would you style it?
