First Shake Shack!

If you can't tell already, I'm a massive food lover. As sad as it may be I was really excited for my first Shake Shack experience. However when we got there we were informed that the shake making machine was malfunctioning and they were off the menu for the day. Thankfully this was the only bad news and everything else was AMAZING. I've had my fair share of burgers and it's safe to say this is ranked in the Top 3.
The only Shake Shack UK as of now is based in London, Covent Garden; if you get a chance check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Go To Belgo!

Belgium is famous for Beer, 'French' Fries & Muscles and you can find all three in London Convent Garden at Belgo Centraal.

"For over 20 years we have brought the very best of Belgium to London with magnificent moules, famous double cooked frites and rather extraordinary beers."

This is the third time I've visited Belgo Centraal, and each time I've thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, from the atmosphere to the staffing and most importantly the food.
It is a highly popular location with locals as well as tourists that know about it - be prepared to wait for a table! However the staff are friendly and super efficient so the wait for food is not that long. Spread the word!

Check out the website for their menu!

Weekend in London

Children playing in the grounds of Somerset House 😊

We came across this elderly gentleman who had casually set himself up on the side of the road and was quite clearly lost in his own little world - it was like a scene from a movie! His tiny notebook was full of what he liked to call 'scribbles' but the dedication in detail is clear to see. People are always moving on, to the newest trends and styles; be it in fashion, cuisines or lifestyle. However, once in a while, look to the older generation around you and I'm pretty sure you will be pleasantly surprised with the wisdom and inspiration they can pass down.

Ending with something sweet and beautiful, my personalised Magnum from Selfridges in celebration of the company's 25th birthday!
